Balwadi is the Pre-Primary wing of our school, dedicated to nurturing young learners and laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. The early years are crucial in shaping a child’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development, and at Balwadi, we ensure that every child’s first step into formal education is joyful, meaningful, and enriching.
In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for the Foundational Stage, our Pre-Primary program follows a child-centric, play-based, and experiential learning approach. We focus on holistic development by integrating learning through play, stories, music, movement, art, and hands-on experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to promote the five key areas of development—physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional—while respecting each child’s pace, interests, and learning style. Through meaningful interactions and guided exploration, children develop communication skills, early literacy and numeracy, problem-solving abilities, and socio-emotional well-being.
Balwadi classrooms are safe, vibrant, and stimulating learning spaces, equipped with interactive boards in all classrooms to enhance engagement and make learning more dynamic and enjoyable. The use of age-appropriate digital tools, along with tactile and experiential resources, supports multisensory learning and keeps children actively involved in the learning process.
Our team of dedicated and trained educators acts as facilitators, mentors, and caregivers, creating a nurturing environment where children feel confident to express themselves, ask questions, collaborate with peers, and explore the world around them.
